Slovenská správa ciest (Slovak road administration, hereinafter referred to as „SSC“) is an independent non-profit organisation established by the Ministry of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of the Slovak Republic (The legal successor is Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic) on the Janaury 1st, 1996.
The statutory authority of SSC is Director General who represents SSC. Director General manages activities of SSC, acts on its behalf in all matters and is accountable answers for financial operations to the Minister of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic.
